Acceptable identification:
Current driver's license from America or abroad.
Current passport
Current state issued identification card
Military ID if it has a signature
Unacceptable identification:
Social security cards
Green cards / permanent resident cards
Credit cards with photo's
Fraudulent looking identification cards
Expired identification.
Exceptions:
California allows an drivers license to be used up to five years from its issue date. It might be expired for a few months, but still be usable
No ID? What to do?
