Having atlases.
I prefer to be able to see on paper where I am going. I prefer maps. I have maps for over ten counties, and I am happy that way. The maps last forever unless the pages fall out. You don't have to be bothered by a slow internet connection when you have a map. You don't have to listen to a computer generated voice when you have good maps.
Map books are easy to use and convenient. They get outdated for new streets after a few years though. I like to see the whole context of where I am going, and map books give me the clearest impression. I don't need to scroll or wonder what the bigger picture looks like because I can see it.
