If you speak incoherently, slur your speech, or mumble, you need to watch My Fair Lady. Keep repeating, "The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.... by George, I think she's got it". A well spoken notary gets the job. Speak clearly on the phone, at the door, and at the signing table. Answer questions promptly and clearly, and politely defer questions that you are not supposed to answer ( leave those to the lender ).
