| Introduction | A notary did a job for this company. After Fedexing in the documents, the company claimed that there were missing signatures. The notary had to repeat this 110 mile round trip only to discover that the missing signatures were not on the original documents, but on new pages that they added after the fact. Hmmm... Should this notary have kept copies of the documents? I have never heard of a notary doing that before. Maybe he could keep a record of the names of the documents at a minimum. |
