There is no such thing as "loyalty" from some SS. They will drop you in a minute if you pose as a PITA for them. Not saying that you are, but that's just the way it is, based on my experience. Sorry this happened to you but perhaps you can ask for additional fee, before accepting the next closing opp. Good luck.

Coast2Coast pays consistently but on a 45 day schedule. Individual staff can be pleasant, but the company lowballs. I just asked for an additional $5 on a $75 refi and they said "no". That's after working consistenly for them for almost 2 years, and saving their necks with last minute signings several times. If this happens again, they have lost a reliable notary.

I have done a signing for them as well. $50 for a POA 5 mi from my house...30-45 days to pay. To long to wait for such little pay.

Did a signing for them because it was 10 minutes away and there were no fax backs. When I got the assignment, there were a few fax backs, which they even knew about. Why were they not honest about it? Only 3 docs, Note, DOT and RTC. The misrepresentation of the scope of work is concerning.
The signer did not have proper government issued ID with their entire middle name on it (which was on the docs). In the state of CO to use a credible witness, the witness and the notary must both know the witness [which would be a very rare situation]. Coast 2 Coast insisted any witness would work that the signer knows. CO [C.R.S. 12-55-110(4)] backs up my knowledge. Their lack of knowledge and attempt to tell me they know more than I do on how to use a credible witness is concerning that they are misleading other uninformed notaries.
Be aware of the law. Don't let a signing company tell you what it is, sometimes they are either misinformed or just want their signing done. Either way, your license and reputation is on the line, not their when you do your job incorrectly.

I've done a few signings with them. You may have to negotiate a higher fee and sometimes the packages are large (200pgs). They seem to pay around 45 days though.

Has anyone worked for Coast2Coast Signings, Inc.
Coast 2 Coast or Coast to Coast...
I think this is different from Coast2Coast Notaries.
Coast2Coast Signings, Inc. is a division of Socal Signings.
