" But no drops until they approve the faxbacks. I ended up holding my last package 5 days, despite leaving voicemails asking permission,"

I used to hate those "no drop til approval" deals, especially for night signings as you KNOW you're not getting anyone to look at it overnight. I would not have held the package for 5 days - that's holding up funding bigtime. Depending on the time of the signing I'd hold til next business day and that's it - the package gets dropped and is out of my hands.

Have done a lot of work for them, but getting frustrated. 13 to 15 certifications in each package, faxbacks of up to 60 pages... okay, that's just part of the package. But no drops until they approve the faxbacks. I ended up holding my last package 5 days, despite leaving voicemails asking permission, then finally reaching someone who gave it. 5 hours later, I got an email from the faxback dept with permission. Would have just gone ahead and dropped it at 24 hours, but had been warned not to in the past.

I like MC, you can send them fax backs. be firm on your fee and they will come around when they need you. I'm picking though and I enjoy the VIP clients.

Seems to me that some of the bigger TCs are moving to faxing and no longer want scans of loan docs, so--given the recent loss of volume, now is not the time to be buying new equipment just so you might get some work.

Besides which, Mortgage Connect is a lowball outfit.

If you don't value your time and experience, nobody else will.

Mortgage Connect has 22 pages for you to download and fill out and they are saying that if you can't scan them back to us we don't want them. You can't fax them back? Is every body out their into scanning documents back to the companies? I live in a rural area and I just don't feel a need to scan and send that many documents just to get work from them. No other companies I work for are demanding that? Am I wrong, This is a new scanner/ printer. My 2 tray printer just prints Closing Documents, it doesn't scan them.
