I have called all the numbers I had for this company and they are no longer in service. I am owed $175 since January 2011. I thought all the shady companies went out of business with the mortgage crash, but I guess not. I am going to pursue this debt on principle. Will Harris smooth talked me into doing a pre sign and full sign for one client with payment promised after the second signing and then stiffed me for both.

I also did a signing for Performance assigned by Will and have not been paid. Beware!!! I got a call from a Will for a signing and I recognized it was Will Harris voice. He did not use his last name. When I got the email confirmation sure enough it was him. I called him back and he stated he is no longer with Performance Closings. I told him I would not take any signings from him because I have yet to be paid for the first one.

Yet another call to PC and Will states he has no control over payments for notaries yet he sends out confirmations for signing jobs stating the company will pay you upon completion. When I asked to speak to J Fox he stated he is in meetings most of the time and he is not in the office today.

So what kind of person are you Will? You knowingly call notaries for signing placement when you know they will not get paid!!

Notaries BEWARE!!!

I have to say this company does NOT get a star in my book. I did two assignments in January and still have yet to see payment. J Fox himself promised payment by bank check on 3/19/11 with an emailed copy for my warm fuzy he was on the up and up... well.. here we are 3/29/11 and still waiting.

I have to say I have been very fortunate and have never had to use the collection process, I guess there is always a first!

2.5 stars on Notary Rotary and they've been discussed extensively over there - numerous disgruntled notaries (not me)...:)

I've heard you can BUY good ratings with BBB - since I heard that I put no stock in the BBB ratings unless formal complaints have been filed and posted - then I only rely on the posted complaints.

They are run by Josef Fox. Located in El Cajon, CA. I did a closing on 12/31/10 and 1/5/11. I still have not been paid and they said several times "it was in the mail". Now they are not responding to my emails or phone calls! They have a good record on the BBB, but hopefully it goes down after I complain there next!
