I have a problem with:

the within named Borrower

I put the actual name in the notary section. On this one if I could not reach the LO. etc. I would use a standard NY notarization.

Linda, thanks for the help, so far you make the most sense. I think somewhere in there is a witness or maybe even two. I have yet to hear back from title so I went out to the forums so I could send docs back today. I put out a help on Notary Rotary too but under the name Marie (my middle name) and it shows up in CA where I used to live. Dont know quite how to change it. Thank you so much for your help!

I did the Jurat part for the borrowers signature but this part threw me. Any comments welcomed.
Her is basically what it looked like on the Compliance Agreement.

Venue
Before me personally appeared _____________and made oath that he/she saw the within named Borrower sign, seal and as his/her act and deed, deliver the within Compliance Agreement: and that he/she with ____________ witnessed the execution thereof.
Then what appears to be a signature line.

Under that is
Sworn before me this blank day of blank

Should have asked title or the attorney - may be a SC thing they could have explained. You can complete it but only notarize the other witness's signature.

Before me personally appeared Jane A. Witness and made oath that he/she saw the within named Borrower sign, seal and as his/her act and deed, deliver the within Compliance Agreement: and that he/she with Norma Jean Notary (or *the undersigned*) witnessed the execution thereof

Not very good on forums. That would sound reasonable for a witness name to go in the first blank but then but who goes in the he/she/ with ________ witnessed the execution thereof. and who signs it and it apppeares to want to be notarized because of the venue and verbiage. Baffled.

It sounds like the name of the witness would go in the first blank, but the second blank is a mystery.
