It would be very helpful if there was a way to have a company named once and all comments about that company reconciled so that there are not new threads started with the same company name. When the comments are scattered it is difficult to get a complete history on the company. It's easier to get a picture of a company when the comments are together.
It seems that some posters, rather than search for Nations Direct [for example] and add their comments to an existing thread, they will start a new thread and then there are five Nations Direct threads, scattered throughout the SC category. There should be no opportunity to keep starting new threads for a company already listed. When a poster tries to start a new Nations Direct thread, an error message should alert them that this company already exists, preventing them from starting the thread. They can do a search of Nations Direct and add their comments to the already existing thread.
I think this would really benefit the forum and make it much easier to read a companies overall history without checking every page for that company name and reading the scattered comments.
What do you think of this idea, Jeremy and Carmen?
Yep yep yep....completely agree Lisa...and if memory serves me I think Jeremy cleaned this up once...but people just don't bother to take the time to search before they post....drive me crazy...if they did it would also duplicate posts of the same issue...
My first of the morning .02...:)

Tips for using the forum
The most important feature on the forum is the search box. You can look up a particular word, phrase, name of a company, and see a potentially large list of search results with which you can obtain data. Filters are also valuable. If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.
Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more.
If you are a notary, the free tips we give are invaluable.
Popular pages
