News Flash!! Rich tells me they are closing their doors on Monday. Guess us notaries get to take another screwing. Says the title companies didn't pay him, and he can't pay us. The title company told me they were already paid. Hmmmm..... He says he will pay us whenever he can out of his own pocket. Again, I am not going to hold my breath.

I just spoke with the title company. She gave me another number for Rich. He did answer the phone, SHOCK, and of course, he was in the middle of a meeting, and will call me back, I won't hold my breath.... Anyway, the lady at the title company says that they get numerous calls about 4Notary, and are currently "looking at" their contract. I told her that if I were a title company, I would certainly not be associated with them. She was nice and wished me luck.

4Notary finally paid me at 6 months (180 days) after the signing. During that time, I spoke, starting at 35 days, w/company reps who, on 5 occasions, told me I would be paid "in 2 weeks". I never was.

I think what got me my check was speaking w/the title company after 150 days. The woman there was super-nice &, I guess, spoke to the owner who did phone me to tell me my check was being sent that day. It arrived at day # 180. The woman at the title company even phoned me about 10 days later to make sure I was really paid.

Good luck w/your efforts. I cannot figure out why 4Notary took so long --- when I first took the assignment, they really impressed me as being a reliable company w/they're act together, but one shouldn't have to go through all this to receive payment. 6 months??? there is no excuse.

I am on the same boat. He makes the same promises and excuses that he hasn't been paid by the Escrow companies. He hasn't paid me for over 100+ days and I was naive enough to believe they are a professional company and did a lot of signings for them. The amount he owes me is worth seeking legal actions. Have any of you seek legal advice or file anything against the company?

Sounds like a crock to me. You know he got paid. Just isn't paying you. Go after him.

I am in the same boat, owed by Rich / 4Notary for 100+ days now. I spoke to him about 3weeks ago, at his real estate company number (he actually answers the phone there), & he said he was trying to pay but so far I have received nothing.

This is a company to STAY AWAY from. They are based out of Kirkland, WA and they are not paying their notaries. I haven't been paid since June and they owe me over $1200. I left numerous messages for Rich and Kathy, and after several days Rich finally returned my calls. He said that he hasn't been paid and right now has no money to pay the notaries. He hopes we understand.
