I did a closing for them on 09/11/09 and still have not been paid by them. They will not respond to emails, I can not reach them by phone. Stay away from this company!

Sunset Signings are not paying their notaries for services rendered. I questioned them on this when accepting the assignment and was told, via e-mail, and I quote "You will absolutely be paid within 3 weeks from the completion of this signing". unquote. After 5 weeks I e-mailed them and they are not responding at all. BEWARE of Sunset Signings. If you work for them YOU WILL NOT BE PAID!!!

I sent an email to them today to ask them what their payment schedule was, because I had seen on the 123Notary forum that NSAs were not getting paid and should I be concerned. I was glad to see that you have gotten paid, since I last signed on. I hope I am as lucky. My signing was on Sept. 21st

I was called today for Sunset Signings. I hadn't worked for them before so I accepted. As soon as I was able to get back to my pc, I looked them up on here as well as NotaryRotary. I screenshot them the forums. Steve was apalled and said he had no idea. I invited him to make somewhat good by joining the forums. To gain my trust, he immediately gave me payment through PayPal. I'll do work again as long as he is clear on payment

Yes I did a Refinance for them on 06/22/09. I looked them up on the web could not find them but in my research I discovered that this job and another one I did on 4/29/09 are the same company Structured Assett Funding out of Hallendale Fl. Still have not recieved payment for either job but still working on this one. Keep me updated on your contacs please so that we may compare notes.

Hello. Any experience with Sunset Signings out of California? I was called last Thursday to do a signing this morning (03/25/2008) at 9:00 A.M. No problem, until I got the confirmation and there is no phone number for the borrower. The docs are supposed to be with the borrower and should only require 10 or so signatures. When I e-mailed Sunset, they told me it doesn't matter what the name of the person at the signing is, just coordinate it with the real estate person. I call the number Sunset gives me and the real estate person has no clue who the person is that I have in my confirmation, but the address is correct and another notary is scheduled to do the closing. Sure enough, when I show up this morning there is another notary there and the borrowers are not who was on my confirmation. Hello, can you say X-files? Well, I am not happy to drive out there in the woods for nothing. So, I am still invoicing Sunset Signings for the closing. If anybody else has any similar horror stories to report about Sunset I would appreciate it. Thanx.
