SIGNING AGENT “MEET & GREET” IN GAYLORD, MI

Dorothy (Dotti) Matsel and I are planning a "Meet and Greet" on Sunday, July 15th. We’ll both be there in a variety of capacities – as members of the United Notary Association of America (UNAA) and its' MI Chapter Dotti will be representing the MI Mobile Loan Closers Network (MMLCN), and we’ll also be there as just another couple of signing agents as well!

The purpose of the Meet & Greet is primarily to do just that – meet, greet, eat and talk with other signing agents about what we do, how we do it, and all the things we’d like to see better (or more of!). The meeting is open to ANYONE who wishes to attend.

We’ll present you with some basic information about the UNAA and the MMLCN, which are two separate groups with two separate missions! Dotti has asked me to speak on “The Loan Process – A Different Perspective”, an article I wrote in the last UNAA Newsletter that readers found very enlightening. It is from the ‘insider’ perspective, taken from my many years of working for lenders and title companies and explains the rhyme & reason for situations that we signing agents deal with. That’s about it for the agenda – we like to keep things loose, comfortable, casual and FUN!

We’d like to see EVERYONE join us at 1:30 P.M., Sunday July 15th at:

The White Pine Restaurant & Lodge
137 West Street, Gaylord, MI
Just off I-75 exit 282, next to the Quality Inn

They are giving us a meeting room. You may order off the menu and they will do separate checks.

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU’LL BE ATTENDING, SO WE CAN GIVE A COUNT TO THE RESTAURANT!

Tips for using the forum
The most important feature on the forum is the search box. You can look up a particular word, phrase, name of a company, and see a potentially large list of search results with which you can obtain data. Filters are also valuable. If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.

Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more. If you are a notary, the free tips we give are invaluable.
