Use the current date. It is not your fault that the lender or others "botched" the loan. Never back date under any circumstances. In other words tell them that "the sky WILL fall."

"...............now my Secretary of State wants to know the name of the Signing Service and the Title Company. OOOPS!"

No ooops about it - you should freely give them the information they want - verbally AND in writing...what the company is asking you to do in inexcusable.

Hello...............I did a signing on April 5th. Sent it off and all is well. Until I got a call from a SA asking me to do something I know is illegal. They wanted me to go to the borrowertoday April 13th and Friday to boot.......hahah....... and re-sign them and make sure I notarized and dated for the 5th of April....They said since I had the signature already in my Notary book and they signed their signature on the 5th, that it was perfectly legal to go back and do all the documents again....I flat refused. I called NNA and my local Secretary of State...............now my Secretary of State wants to know the name of the Signing Service and the Title Company. OOOPS! But actually they should not of asked me to do something illegal and want me to hang my notary bum out to dry..........So, please research all that you do if there is a question. The best place to start is ask Carmen, then the NNA and then your local Secretary of State...Maybe not in that order.............but Carmen was correct.
